It’s been four books and she is making the same freaking dumb mistakes she was making in book one. How many times has she been kidnapped at this point? How many times are the supposedly smart leaders of these different factions going to be like, “oh you’ve been kidnapped 89 times, but want to go out and do a food run with the team? SURE! It’ll go great and you will definitely not completely ignore orders for the millionth time and go off half cocked and put everyone in dander snd untimely reveal the location of ALL OF OUR SECURE BASES. I INHALED this book. Though I wish the last two were on audible as well, the author hasn't disappointed me. I've been half wild with the wait lol luckily, I discovered the series six days before this one was due to come out but my inner book goblin was very, VERY impatient waiting for the release. Thank you, Stacy for creating such a wonderful world for me to fall into. I will leash my goblin while I try and wait for January. I know it'll be worth the wait. So we pick up where we left off from the third book and in true Stacey style there are lots of emotional wreckage for us poor readers, in saying that it is a must read. I tried to pace myself with Bad Lands as the final instalment isn’t due until next year but it became impossible. The charters are either punching you in the gut… clenching your heart … or making you over heat from their pure hotness and that’s with out the steam level!! I’m surprised I don’t shrink while reading … I literally have to remind myself to breath. Absolutely excellent must read series.. bring on January. Lots of padding to make the book last but what a cliff hanger! Now have to wait for book 5. But it was a great escape into another world even if it was only for a 2 days!
